Sanford, Fla. - The Wheaton men's tennis team returned to action on Tuesday afternoon in a matchup against NAIA foe Warner University (6-2). The Royals defeated the Thunder 6-3 in today's matchup. Wheaton won all three doubles matches with the Royals winning each of the six singles contests.
The Wheaton duo of
Jack Booker and
Cody Ching earned a 7-5 victory at No. 1 doubles. At No. 2 doubles it was
Joey Geisz and
Jacob Williams that teamed up for a 6-3 victory at No. 2 doubles. The Thunder No. 3 doubles team of
Tim Steiner and
Jack Wenzel earned a 6-4 win.
Wheaton (6-4) returns to action on Wednesday with a match against Haverford College on Wednesday evening.
