Altamonte Springs, Fla. - The Wheaton women's tennis team concluded its three-match trip to Florida on Friday with an 8-1 victory against Wittenberg University (6-3). The Thunder are now 12-3 on the season.

The Thunder No. 1 doubles team of Abygale Ahn and Madeline Gentry earned an 8-3 victory. Audrey Vick and Lydia Adams teamed up for an 8-3 victory at No. 2 doubles, while the No. 3 doubles team of Alexandra Wachs and Lily Anne Van Ye picked up an 8-0 victory.

Vick was a 6-1, 3-6, 10-8 winner at No. 2 singles for the Thunder. Ahn picked up a 2-6, 6-1, 10-8 victory at No. 3 singles and Wachs won her match at No. 4 singles 6-0, 6-3. Adams earned an 0-6, 6-1, 10-5 victory at No. 5 singles and Janet Kondo picked up a 6-2, 3-6, 10-8 win at No. 6 singles.

The Thunder are off until March 28 when Wheaton hosts University of St. Francis (IL) at Centre Court Athletic Club in Hanover Park, Illinois.
