Wheaton, Ill. - Wheaton junior Alessandro D'Argento has been named a CCIW Men's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week his performance last week in leading the Thunder to a 3-1 victory at home against WashU last Saturday.

D'Argento tallied four points last Saturday against WashU as he was involved in each of Wheaton's three goals. He scored on Wheaton's third goal, recording a goal on a penalty kick.

The junior had two assists in the outing. His first assist set up the team's first goal with an excellent cross into the box and created the goal-scoring opportunity for teammate Jack Jacquet. D'Argento's second assist was a well-placed pass into the box that that allowed Kyle Johnson to score Wheaton's game-winning goal.

D'Argento and the Thunder start conference play on Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan.
