Thunder track and field programs earn six All-Region selections from the USTFCCCA

Wheaton, Ill. - The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) named its 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field All-Region Teams on Wednesday by the USTFCCCA following the conclusion of the regular season (utilizing results prior to the Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships). The Wheaton track & field teams had six total selections with five from the Thunder men's program and one honoree from Wheaton's women's program. Top-five individuals in each event from each region earn All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-three ranked relay teams.

WHEATON'S MEN'S TRACK & FIELD SELECTIONS
Senior David Bradley earned All-Midwest Region honors in the men's pole vault with a vault of 4.87 meters (15' 11-3/4") at North Central's Carius/Gregory Invitational on May 12 that qualified him for Nationals where he earned All-America honors.

Isaiah Clausen, a National qualifier in the decathlon, earned All-Region in the event.  Clausen earned All-Region with 6,586 points at the North Central Combined Events Meet on May 16-17.

Senior high jumper Don Crowder earned his first career All-Region award. Crowder's effort of 2.02-meters (6' 7-1/2") at the CCIW Championships to win the conference title earned him All-Region honors, with a top-five performance in the region this season. 

Sophomore Eli Odell is an All-Midwest Region selection in the men's 400-meter hurdles for the second-consecutive year.  Odell posted a time of 53.23-seconds in a first-place effort at the 2022 CCIW Championships on May 6 to earn All-Region. 

Kevin Riley earned All-Region in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:04.85 on May 13 at North Central's Dr. Keeler Track & Field Meet.  

WHEATON'S WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD SELECTIONS
Junior Abi Gum earned All-Midwest Region in the women's heptathlon. Her regional top-five performance of 4,406 points was tallied at the University of Mount Olive Multis Meet on May 11-12,
