Naperville, Ill. - The Thunder wrestling team traveled to North Central College on Thursday night for a dual match against the third-ranked Cardinals. North Central won eight of the 10 matches en route to a 36-9 victory.

Thunder senior Jackson Punzel (PICTURED ABOVE) won his match at 197-pounds by fall. Punzel was awarded the fall against North Central's Elijah Brockie at the 6:29 mark of their match.

Wheaton's other winner on Thursday was sophomore Ethan Renager. Renager earned a 5-4 decision against North Central's Bradley Rosen.

Both Punzel and Renager remain undefeated on the season with their respective wins tonight.

The Thunder wrestling program returns to action November 19 at the Concordia Open in Mequon, Wisconsin.
