Wheaton, Ill. – The Wheaton women's soccer team earned a 6-0 victory at home against Elmhurst University on Saturday afternoon at Joe Bean Stadium. Wheaton improves to 2-6-3 on the season with today's convincing win and is now 1-1-1 in CCIW play.

Tori Seeland netted her second goal of the season in the 37

Morgan Beamer assist to extend Wheaton's lead to 2-0.
The Thunder led 2-0 at the halftime intermission. Wheaton out-shot the Bluejays 13-0 in the first half.
Rebekah Max scored her first goal of the year in the 59
th minute as she netted a
Lauren Walmer assist. Ashley tallied her second goal of the day in the 76
th minute to put the Thunder up 4-0. Ashley's goal was setup by a Montayre assist.
Leila Parente netted her first collegiate goal in the 85
th minute when she collected the ball on a long kick from goalkeeper
Lauren Ketchum who assisted on the goal. Wheaton's 6-0 victory was solidified when
Lauren Walmer scored her first collegiate goal on an assist by
Molly Thorne with 27-seconds left in the match.
Wheaton out-shot the Bluejays 25-1 in the match, and the Thunder had a 16-1 advantage in shots on goal. Wheaton was awarded six corner kicks and Elmhurst had one.
Wheaton remains home in conference play on Wednesday as the Thunder host Carroll at 7:00 p.m. at Joe Bean Stadium.
