Ben Weaver has been named to the 2021 D3baseball.com All-Central Region Team as an outfielder. Weaver was named to the website's All-Central Region Third Team.
Weaver started every game in centerfield for the Thunder in 2021. In his first full collegiate season he hit for a .367 (61-for-166) batting average and a team-high .527 slugging percentage. Weaver hit 11 doubles, with six triples and one home run in 2021. He tied for second on the team with 19 walks drawn and his 11 stolen bases also ranked second on the squad.

Matthias Haggerty each set a new program record for games played in a season at 43. The 61 hits for Weaver in 2021 is tied for seventh most in a season in program history.
Weaver had a team-high 20 multi-hit games in the 2021 season. He closed season with a team-best 13-game hit streak that included seven multi-hit games.
