Naperville, Ill. - The Thunder track and field teams opened the indoor portion of their 2021 season on Saturday with a dual meet at North Central. Today's event was the first of five events scheduled against CCIW opponents over the next month. Wheaton travels to Kenosha, Wisconsin next Saturday for a tri-meet against Carthage and Carroll.

Sophomore
Isaiah Clausen won the men's long jump with a leap of 6.26-meters. Senior
David Bradley (PICTURED LEFT) won the men's pole vault with an effort of 4.65-meters for the Thunder. Sophomore
Trevor Gabriele won the men's shot put with a toss of 14.34-meters.
Ben Jackson won the men's 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.67-seconds.
Thomas Everest had a time of 2:08.14 to win the men's 800-meter run.
Abi Gum, a sophomore, finished first in the women's long jump with a leap of 4.60-meters.

Senior Brianna Hawthorne won the women's 800-meter run with an effort of 2:29.68. Alyssa Mantia was first in the women's 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:45.64. Tess Sutton posted a time of 9.52-meters to finish first in the women's 60-meter hurdles.
