Kenosha, Wis. - The Thunder wrestling team returned to action on Friday with a pair of dual matches at the Carthage College duals. Wheaton's first match of the day saw te Cardinals of North Central defeat the Thunder 37-3. Wheaton closed out the event in a 34-18 loss to Augustana.
Hunter Harrison picked up a victory at 174-pounds in each of Wheaton's matches today.
Harrison's win at 174-pounds against Augustana came against the Vikings' Franki Faasen in a 9-4 decision.
Cade Zeamer pinned Augustana's Alex Cruz at the 6:46 mark of their match. at 149-pounds.
Caele Manley won a 7-5 decision at 165-pounds against Neil O'Shaughnessy.
Ben Lokos pinned Dylan Messer just 1:01 into their matchup at 197-pounds.
In the dual match against North Central, Harrison won a 7-4 decision against North Central's Jordan Chisum.
The Thunder will compete at the 2021 CCIW Championships next Saturday at Augustana College.Â
