Wheaton, Ill. - A pair student-athletes from the Wheaton indoor track & field teams earned the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Field Athlete of the Week awards from the conference on Tuesday. Sophomore Amy Keane of the Thunder women's track & field program was named the CCIW "Women's Field Athlete of the Week" and sophomore Isaiah Clausen was reecognized as the CCIW "Men's Field Athlete of the Week."

Keane won the indoor pentathlon on Saturday at Carthage's multi-event meet. She scored 2,966 points, which currently ranks first in the CCIW and third on the NCAA Division III national list. Her marks on Saturday included 8.87-seconds in the 55-meter hurdles, 4' 11-1/2" in the high jump, 24' 9" in the shot put, 16' 8-1/2" in the long jump and a time of 2:39.59 in the 800-meter run.

Clausen had the top collegiate performance in the men's indoor heptathlon at Carthage's multi-event meet on Saturday. He finished the event with a score of 4,277, setting personal records in the hurdles (8.09), shot put (30-6 1/4), high jump (5-8 1/2) and pole vault (13-1 1/2). Clausen is currently ranked fourth in the heptathlon in NCAA Division III and first in the CCIW.

The Wheaton track and field teams return to action on Friday in a dual meet at North Central.
