Kenosha, Wis. - The seventh-ranked Wheaton men's basketball team remained undefeated on Saturday with a 76-70 victory at Carthage College. The Thunder overcame a 13-point deficit midway through the second half to earn the road win. Wheaton is now 7-0 (7-0
CCIW) on the season, while Carthage is 3-3 overall (3-3
CCIW).

Cruickshank scored a team-high 16 points for the Thunder. He added four assists and four rebounds.
Cade Alioth (PICTURED LEFT) scored 13 points with 12 rebounds tonight to tally his fourth "double-double" of the year, and the fifth-consecutive game he has collected 10 or more rebounds in a game. Alioth had nine rebounds and scored nine points in the second half tonight.
Luke Anthony scored 13 points off the Wheaton bench tonight, making four three-pointers. The junior scored 12 of his 13 points today in the second half. Junior guard
Nyameye Adom tallied 12 points and he distributed a season-high seven assists.

Gavin Hawkins registered eight points with five rebounds. Hawkins made a pair of three-pointers for the guests.
The Thunder shot 46.9% (23-of-49) from the field, including 39.1% (9-of-23) from three-point range. Carthage posted a 43.8% (14-of-32) field goal percentage today, including 27.3% (3-for-11) from behind the three-point arc. Wheaton shot 65.6% (21-of-32) at the free throw line and Carthage had a 50% (4-for-8) effort at the charity stripe. Carthage out-rebounded the Thunder 40-36, including a 14-6 advantage in offensive rebounding. Wheaton impressed in transition today with an 11-2 advantage in fast break points.
The Thunder jumped out to an early lead today thanks to a 12-4 run in the first three minutes of the game. Carthage responded with a 12-1 run over the next four minutes to give the hosts a 16-13 lead with 13:10 remaining in the first half. Carthage led the Thunder 33-31 at the halftime intermission.

Cade Alioth layup with 19:10 left in the second half tied the game at 33-33. Carthage responded with a key scoring run take its largest lead of the game with a 13-point bulge at 50-37 with 13:00 minutes left in the game.
Three-pointers by Anthony and Hawkins sparked a 10-2 Wheaton run as the Thunder cut the hosts' lead to 52-47 with 9:15 remaining in the game. Carthage held a seven-point lead at 54-47 with 8:50 remaining in the game when a pair of Adom free throws ignited a 10-2 Wheaton run to give the Thunder a 58-57 lead with 6:00 remaining in the game, Wheaton's first lead of the second half. The Thunder led 66-64 when the guests expanded their lead to 74-66 with 32-seconds left in the game thanks to an 8-2 Thunder run. Wheaton held on for the six-point win at 76-70.
Fillip Bulatovic led Carthage with 31 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Garrett Horner scored 12 points off the Carthage bench and Sean Johnson added 12 points with eight rebounds for the hosts.
Wheaton returns to Wisconsin for its next game as the Thunder compete at Carroll next Thursday for a 7:00 p.m. tipoff against the Pioneers.
