Colleen Smith earned First Team All-CCIW accolades this season, her third career All-Conference honor

Colleen Smith and Allie High earn All-CCIW volleyball recognition

Wheaton, Ill. – Two members of the Wheaton volleyball team earned recognition on the 2021 All-CCIW Volleyball Team, as announced by the conference earlier today. Colleen Smith and Allie High were each named to the All-CCIW Volleyball team.

Smith picks up All-CCIW honors for the third time in her career. A Second Team All-CCIW honoree in 2018 and 2019, Smith earns First Team honors this season. Smith leads the Thunder with 294 kills in 29 matches this season, as she averaged 2.72 kills per set. Smith was third on the team with an average of 2.15 digs per set and she had a 93.3% service reception percentage. In CCIW play this season Smith averaged 2.71 kills per set, with 2.1 digs per set.

Allie HighHigh (PICTURED LEFT) was named to the All-CCIW Second Team for the second time in her career, also earning the recognition in 2019. The libero for the Thunder, High leads Wheaton with 4.98 digs per set this season. She also has a team-high 35 service aces. In Wheaton's eight CCIW matches, High averaged 4.32 digs per set this season.

Wheaton, the No. 4 seed, hosts No. 5 seed Millikin on Tuesday night in a CCIW Tournament Quarterfinal Match in King Arena.
