Wheaton, Ill. - Stay connected with the new Wheaton Thunder app from the Wheaton Athletics Department and powered by SIDEARM Sports. The Wheaton Thunder app is available for free on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The app features real-time news alerts, schedules, exclusive multimedia content, gameday details and more. The Wheaton Thunder app is free and compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

A key new feature of the Wheaton Thunder app is notifications. Each user can sign up for notifications to receive scores, schedule changes, breaking news and stories for their favorite Thunder sports on their phone or tablet. To receive these notifications be sure to sign up for them on your first visit to the app or on the "YOU" icon at the bottom of the app. PLEASE NOTE: The long-running Wheaton Thunder SMS text message service is being discontinued immediately and the best way to receive scores/results, schedule updates and more is on the Wheaton Thunder app.

Viewers of the Wheaton Thunder Sports Network can use the "WATCH" icon on gamedays to watch live home broadcasts of several Thunder sports. The "VIDEOS" icon include all of the new and archived content from the Wheaton Athletics YouTube page.

For additional content when on each individual sport page of the app be sure to use the "..." icon in the upper right corner (SEE IMAGE TO THE RIGHT). 

The app is designed with a user-friendly interface that integrates with the Wheaton Athletics Website to bring the latest Thunder digital content right to your fingertips. Additionally, it includes links to video and audio streams of live games, in-game stats, and social media feeds.
