Thunder head football coach Jesse Scott announces new roles for Taylor Graham and Andrew Bowers

Wheaton, Ill. – Wheaton College (Ill.) football coach Jesse Scott has announced the appointment of Taylor Graham and Andrew Bowers to new roles on the coaching staff of the Thunder football program. Scott was named Wheaton's head football coach on January 28, a member of the program's coaching staff since 2010, he previously served as the offensive coordinator for the Thunder.

Taylor Graham replaces Scott as Wheaton's Offensive Coordinator. Graham has served on the Wheaton coaching staff since 2016, most recently as the passing game coordinator for the Thunder. He is a 2015 graduate of University of Hawai'i Manoa, where he played two years at quarterback after transferring from Ohio State University. He appeared in eight games over his two seasons at Hawai'i, including four as the starting quarterback. He registered 595 career passing yards with three touchdown passes.

Scott says of Graham's appointment, "I am excited to announce Taylor Graham as our new Offensive Coordinator. Coach Graham's unique contributions have been a key component of our offensive success for the last three years. He is an exceptional teacher of the game and will do a fantastic job of leading our offense."

Andrew Bowers will serve as Wheaton's Special Teams Coordinator and coach a yet to be determined position group for the Thunder. A 2017 graduate of Wheaton, he has served as an Offensive Assistant for the Thunder football team the past two seasons. Bowers was a two-time All-CCIW performer at quarterback for the Thunder, twice earning CCIW Offensive Player of the Week recognition. He is 11th in Wheaton history with 4,429 career passing yards with 42 touchdown passes in his tenure. He completed 60.2% (302-of-502) of his career passing attempts; and is ninth in program history in total offense with 5,409 total yards. He helped lead Wheaton to two NCAA Division III Playoff appearances in 2015 and 2016.
 
Scott notes of Bowers, "Andrew is ready for a greater role in our program. He is passionate about our program and understands what it takes for us to be successful."
