Lincoln, Illinois - The Wheaton wrestling team returned to action on Thursday with a pair of dual matches at Lincoln College. The triangular with Lincoln and Hannibal-LaGrange was the first action for the Thunder wrestling team since December 14. Wheaton defeated the host Lynx of Lincoln College 48-3. The Thunder also earned a 43-11 victory against Hannibal-LaGrange.

Giovany Armira was a 4-3 victor at 133-pounds against Lincoln's Jack Hale. Natan Jara earned a 4-1 decision over Desirgeon Keys of the Lynx at 197-pounds. Charles Owens, Isaac Odell, Grant Miller and Jacob Murrie (PICTURED) earned wins by pin against Lincoln.

In the victory against Hannibal-LaGrange, Murrie won by fall in 58 seconds. Luke Gentry won a 6-1 decision against Corban Watson at 184-pounds. Jara won a major decision, 14-4, against Drew McCollum.

The Wheaton wrestling team returns to action January 18 at University of Dubuque's "Jim Fox Duals".
