Decatur, Ill. - The top seed Augustana men's tennis team defeated No. 2 seed Wheaton on Saturday in the final at the 2019 CCIW Men's Tennis Championship. Wheaton ends the 2019 campaign with a 12-10 overall record. Augustana (24-6) wins the 2019 CCIW Championship and earns the conference's automatic bid to the upcoming NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship.
Wheaton's lone victory on Saturday was a win at No. 2 doubles. The Thunder team of
Anderson Park and Alex Winters defeated the Augustana tandem of Alvaro Leal and Leonardo Panosso.
