Lake Geneva, Wisconsin - The Wheaton men's tennis team participated in UW-Whitewater's "Warhawk Invite" on Friday on Friday and Saturday. Wheaton opened up its participation in the tournament on Friday with a matchup against Grinnell College. The Pioneers (3-0) defeated Wheaton by a score of 8-1. The host Warhawks of UW-Whitewater (4-1) defeated Wheaton 6-3 on Saturday morning. The Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops (2-4) topped the Thunder 6-3 on Saturday afternoon in Wheaton's (1-3) final match of the event.

Anderson Park picked up Wheaton's victory in Friday's 8-1 loss to Grinnell. Park defeated Grinnell's Bowen Mince 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 singles to improve to 2-0 on the season.Â
Park picked up an impressive victory at No. 1 singles against UW-Whitewater's Jimmy on Saturday morning. Park won the match 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-5).
Alexander Winters earned Wheaton's other singles win against the Warhawks. Winters was a 7-5, 7-5 victor at No. 4 singles against the Warhawks' Brendan Pietila. Park and Winters teamed up at No. 2 doubles for an 8-7 (7-4) victory against the UW-Whitewater team of Robert Rider and Noah Guillermo.
Park was 3-0 for the tournament at No. 1 singles. He picked up his third singles win on Saturday afternoon with a 6-4, 6-1 victory against Jack Hibbard of Ohio Wesleyan. Winters earned a 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-6) victory at No. 4 singles against Ohio Wesleyan's Omar Santiagonunez. The No. 3 doubles tandem of

Jacob Panjwani defeated Ohio Wesleyan's Ryan Simon and Ben Stein 8-6.
Wheaton will host Wabash College next Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at Centre Court Athletic Club in Hanover Park, Illinois.Â
