Wheaton's victory came in the matchup at 174-pounds as Thunder junior Hunter Harrison won by medical forfeit 1:12 into his match against North Central's Cam Hayes.
 
Two of tonight's matches up were narrow losses by one point in decisions. North Central's Enzo Silva edged Wheaton's Anthony Zamora in a 3-2 decision on an escape in the third period. Thunder senior Isaac Odell lost a close 3-2 decision against North Central's Ben Bergen at 184-pounds.
 
The Thunder wrestling team returns to action Saturday as Wheaton travels to Milwaukee to compete in the MSOE Invitational.
