Wheaton, Ill. - Saturday night's men's soccer contest between Wheaton and Ohio Wesleyan at Joe Bean Stadium was canceled due to lightning in the area.
The match began at 7:05 p.m. and lightning was detected in the area just three minutes and 11 seconds into the contest. The finale match of the Bob Baptista was canceled at approximately 8:10 p.m. The matchup between Wheaton and the Battlin' Bishops will not be rescheduled.
Wheaton (1-0) returns to action on Tuesday at Albion College in a 6:00 p.m. (EDT) matchup with the Britons.
