Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton men's tennis team defeated Elmhurst College on Tuesday afternoon 9-0 at home. Today's victory is the fourth-consecutive win for the Thunder as Wheaton improves to 3-0 in CCIW play.

The No. 1 doubles team of Jeremiah Yi and Dane Paulsen earned an 8-2 victory against the Elmhurst tandem of Shawn Sabaricos and David Demoll. Anderson Park and Karl Wenzel were 8-2 victors at No. 2 doubles against Elmhurst's Grant O'Connell and Nico Favuzzi. Wheaton's No. 3 doubles team of Andrew Bristol and Josh Cheng won by forfeit.

Park defeated Sabaricos 6-2, 6-1 in the matchup at No. 1 singles. Paulsen defeated Demoll 6-3, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Yi was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at No. 3 singles. Cheng defeated Favuzzi 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles and Wenzel was a 6-2, 6-0 victor against Tavious Imperial at No. 5 singles. Alexander Winters won by forfeit at No. 6 singles. 

Wheaton host Concordia (Wis.) on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in a non-conference match.
