The No. 3-seed Thunder men's soccer team will travel to Carthage Wednesday for a CCIW Tournament Semifinal matchup

Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton men's soccer team will compete in a CCIW Tournament semifinal match on Wednesday. The winner of the CCIW Men's Soccer Tournament will earn the conference's automatic bid to 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship.

Wheaton, the No. 3-seed in the tournament will travel to Carthage on Wednesday, October 31 for a 7:00 p.m. matchup with the second-seeded Red Men. Top-seed North Park will host No. 4-seed North Central on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the other semifinal. The 2018 CCIW Men's Soccer Tournament Championship match will feature the advancing teams from each semifinal, playing at the highest remaining seed on Saturday November 3. 

Wheaton has won a league-best nine CCIW Tournaments since the event began in 2002. North Park is second in league history with four tournament titles and Carthage is third with three CCIW Tournament titles to its credit. 

A reminder to fans that wish to attend the CCIW Tournament that at CCIW Championship events: CCIW parent passes, faculty/staff ID's, or Thunder season passes will not be honored.
