Whitewater, Wis. – The Thunder men's soccer team (9-5-1) lost a 1-0 decision at UW-Whitewater (8-5-1) on Saturday night. Tonight's loss snaps Wheaton's four-match winning streak.
The Thunder and Warhawks played a scoreless first half tonight. The Warhawks held an 8-5 advantage in shots in the opening half, with each team taking three shots on goal.
UW-Whitewater's Henry Raymonds broke the scoreless tie in the 70
th minute when he scored his third goal of the season. Raymonds' goal was assisted by Jake Santellano. UW-Whitewater held a 5-2 advantage in shots in the second half as each team took one shot on goal.

Hasten Biddlecome made three saves and allowed one goal in 90 minutes of work in the Thunder net. UW-Whitewater netminder Jake King made four saves, allowing no goals in the hosts' shutout.
The Warhawks out-shot the Thunder 13-7 in the match, as each team took four shots on goal. UW-Whitewater three corner kicks in the match and Wheaton was awarded two.
Wheaton resumes conference play on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. with a match at Carthage.
