Waukesha, Wis. - The Wheaton women's soccer team earned its sixth-consecutive win on Wednesday night, cruising to a 2-0 victory at Carroll University. The Thunder, ranked 10th in the latest poll from United Soccer Coaches, took the field ranked in the Top-10 for the first time since the 2014 season. The victory moved Wheaton to 11-2 overall and 4-0 in the CCIW while the Pioneers fell to 3-7-4 and 0-2-2 in conference play. Wheaton will be back in action on Saturday when the Thunder host North Central at 7 pm.
Wheaton attempted all 12 shots in the match, leading
Lauren Ketchum to her sixth shutout of the season. Christina O'Block made eight saves and allowed two goals for Carroll, stopping four shots in each half.
O'Block was called into action early and often, stopping a pair of shots in the first 15 minutes of action to keep the score tied. Wheaton was finally able to get on the scoreboard following four saves by the Pioneers' keeper when
