Waukesha, Wis. – The Thunder men's soccer team registered its fourth shutout of the season on Saturday night in earning a 4-0 victory at Carroll University (2-10-1, 0-3-0 CCIW). Wheaton improves to 5-7 overall and 1-2 in CCIW play.

Will Woodfin headed the ball into the net just 3:38 into the match to give the Thunder a 1-0 lead in the contest.

nd minute to give the Thunder a 2-0 lead. Wheaton maintained its 2-0 lead at the halftime intermission.

The Thunder continued to lead 2-0 for the majority of the second half.
Peter Whallon tallied his second goal of the year in the 84
th minute to increase the guests' lead to 3-0. Freshman
AJ Moyes assisted on Whallon's goal. Woodfin registered his second goal of the night in the 88
th minute to account for the 4-0 final score.
Wheaton goalkeeper
Hasten Biddlecome made five saves in recording the shutout. Carroll's starting goalkeeper Jeremy Pasterz played four minutes in allowing one goal with one save. Connor Thompson played 86 minutes in the Pioneers' net, allowing three goals with five saves.
Wheaton travels to Elmhurst on Wednesday for a 7:30 p.m. matchup with the Bluejays.
