Whitewater, Wis. - The Thunder men's tennis team split a pair of matches on a neutral court on Saturday at UW-Whitewater's Warhawk Invitational. Wheaton was victorious 7-2 over Ohio Wesleyan and fell 5-4 to Grinnell. Wheaton is now 2-3 on the season and will host Aquinas College on Saturday at Centre Court Racquet Club in Hanover Park, Ill.

Wheaton and Grinnell split the singles matches in the morning contest with Justin Ancona, Dane Paulsen and Matt Steiner sweeping the top three singles contests. Grinnell was able to sweep the Nos. 4-6 singles matches. Ancona and Steiner won at No. 1 doubles but Grinnell claimed the Nos. 2 and 3 doubles. Wheaton swept the three dobules matches against Ohio Wesleyan and took four of the six singles contests.
