Milwaukee, Wis. - The Thunder swim teams traveled to UW-Milwaukee on Friday night to face the Panthers in a dual meet. UW-Milwaukee was victorious in the men's meet 121-74 and also won the women's meet 128-74.
The Thunder men's team was able to win two events led by Chris Szymczak who won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 53.52 seconds. Will McCauley won the 500-yard freestyle with a dominant time of 4:46.71, a margin of victory of five seconds ahead of the field.
Kayla Roberson won the women's 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:07.33, touching home less than half a second a head of the closest competitor.
Wheaton will return to Chrouser Natatorium next Saturday, November 12, when the Thunder play host to Calvin in a dual meet at 1 PM.
