Decatur, Ill. - The Thunder men's tennis team won its ninth consecutive match on Thursday night with an 8-1 victory over Millikin University. With the win, Wheaton improves to 12-5 on the season and remains a perfect 4-0 in CCIW play. Millikin falls to 7-7 overall and 0-4 in conference play. Wheaton swept the top five singles matches as

Justin Ancona,
Lincoln Metz and
Derek Mumaw each won in straight sets and
Karl Wenzel dropped the opening set but rallied to win in three sets at No. 4 singles. Wheaton then swept doubles play to earn the 8-1 victory.
