Janesville, Wis. - The Thunder men's tennis team concluded its participation in UW-Whitewater's Warhawk Invite on Saturday with a pair of matches. The Thunder opened the day with a 5-4 loss to regionally-ranked Grinnell College (4-3) in the morning. Wheaton picked up a 7-2 win against Ohio Wesleyan (1-6) in the afternoon.

Josh Ward won two matches on the day at number-two singles and freshman Lincoln Metz pickup up a pair of victories at number-four singles. Justin Ancona and Matt Steiner earned wins in both matches at number-two singles.

Wheaton (2-4) will host UW-Oshkosh next Saturday at Centre Court Athletic Club in Hanover Park, Illinois.
