Wheaton, Ill. - The Thunder men's soccer team will travel to Loras College for the Sectional Round of the 2015 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament this weekend. Wheaton (14-3-3) will face St. Olaf (14-7-1) on Friday, November 20 at 7:30 p.m. Loras (15-4-1) will face DePauw (12-3-5) at 5:00 p.m. in Friday's other Sectional Semifinal matchup. The advancing teams will face each other on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. in the Sectional Final with the winner advancing to the Final Four in Kansas City.
Winners of the automatic bid from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, St. Olaf advanced through the first weekend with a 2-0 victory over St. Olaf in the First Round before defeating the host Scots of Macalester with a goal in the 87th minute. Wheaton owns a 4-0 record in the all-time series against the Oles. The last meeting between the two programs was in 2003, with Wheaton earning a 2-0 victory in Northfield.

Marshall Hollingsworth's penalty kick was the lone goal in Wheaton's 1-0 victory over UW-Whitewater in their Second Round match on Saturday night at Joe Bean Stadium.
The Wheaton men's soccer program has made 35 NCAA appearances since the Division III Men's Soccer Tournament began in 1974 and is second in the tournament's history for most appearances. Wheaton is 50-31-3 all-time in the postseason, with six Final Four appearances and National Championships in 1984 and 1997.
Admission for each session is for $6 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens, $2 for ages 3-12. As a NCAA Championship event no free passes will be accepted.
