The Thunder offensive line represents the Wheaton football program on this week's D3football.com Team of the Week

Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton offensive line was selected to this week's D3football.com Team of the Week for its effort in a 62-14 victory at home against Millikin last Saturday night. The line is represented on the Team of the Week by its starters: Matt Snebold, Jon Callaway, Kyler Kregel, Peter Gibson and Ben Pettway.

The Thunder offensive line helped open holes for an offense that racked up 657 yards of total offense in last Saturday's 62-14 win against Millikin, the highest single-game total for the program since Oct. 18, 1996. The Wheaton offense had six rushing touchdowns in the game against the Big Blue.

The Thunder offense leads the CCIW in several statistical categories through the first six games of the season. Wheaton leads the league in total offense with 543.3 yards per game, a mark that is sixth in Division III. The program is first in the CCIW in scoring offense (46.8 PPG) and 11th in Division III. Wheaton, the league leader in rushing offense (280.2 YPG) is 12th in the country in the category. The Thunder offense also leads the league in sacks allowed and passing offense.

Wheaton, 6-0 on the season and 3-0 in CCIW play, is ranked fifth in this week's AFCA Division III Top-25. The Thunder will travel to North Central on Saturday for a 2:00 p.m. kickoff against the number-21 ranked Cardinals in Naperville.
