GAME STATS Chicago, Ill. - The Wheaton volleyball team earned its first conference win of the year on Tuesday night with a 3-0 victory at North Park. Wheaton improves to 9-13 overall and 1-2 in CCIW play with tonight's win. The Thunder will remain in conference play with a matchup at North Central on Friday night at 7:00 p.m.

Thunder head coach Brittany Smith said of tonight's win, "Our team had great energy tonight and demonstrated an intensity that we've been working on the last week. We had solid aggressive play, limited our errors and worked hard to stay focused throughout the whole match. It was a great conference win and should give us momentum toward Friday."

Thunder junior Shelby Knowles led the guests with 21 kills tonight. Setter Ashley Torok tallied three aces in the match and Lauren Wilhite recorded nine kills filling in at outside hitter.
