Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton men's tennis team topped Augustana College (15-9/3-2) on Friday night in a 7-2 victory at home. Wheaton is now 16-4 on the year and 4-1 in CCIW play.

Ryan Kreis, Justin Ancona, Josh Ward, Matt Steiner and David Buursma each earned wins in singles competition on Friday. The number one-one doubles team of Ward and Kreis earned an 8-2 win and the number-three doubles team of Derek Mumaw and Buursma won 9-8 decision.

Wheaton will conclude the regular season on Saturday at noon when the Thunder travels to Carthage College. Wheaton will participate in the 2014 CCIW Championships on May 2-3 in Elmhurst, Illinois.
