Cedar Rapids, Iowa- The Wheaton men's tennis team fell 7-2 on Friday night against the Coe College Kohawks. Wheaton, ranked #14 in regionally fell to 10-2 on the season while the Kohawks, ranked seventh in the region, improved to 16-4 on the season. Wheaton's victories came from
Josh Ward at No. 3 singles with a tight three-set victory 6-2, 6-7, 7-6 over Coe's Ryan Hickman. Ward also teamed with
Ryan Kreis for an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles. Wheaton will continue its spring schedule on April 4 with a match at Aurora University.
