GAME STATS 1 | GAME STATS 2 Mount Vernon, Iowa – The Wheaton volleyball team participated in the Cornell College Tri-Match on Saturday. Wheaton lost a 0-3 (24-26, 21-25, 24-26) decision against Wartburg in the opening match for the Thunder. Wheaton lost to Cornell 1-3 (14-25, 25-23, 17-25, 18-25) in the day's final match.

Wheaton is now 12-19 on the year. The Thunder will conclude the regular season on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. when #17-ranked Carthage visits King Arena.

Wartburg bested the Thunder 3-0 in the opening match. Andy DeMoss led the Thunder with 16 kills and she added 19 digs. Shelby Knowles tallied 12 kills, with 20 digs and two service aces. Ashley Torok had 24 assists and Alley Lindner distributed 16 assists. Linsay Stein had four total blocks for the Thunder.

Cornell topped the Thunder 3-1 on Saturday. Shelby Knowles led the Thunder with 15 kills. Andy DeMoss (PICTURED ABOVE) tallied 11 kills, with 19 digs. Kelli Manning tallied 15 digs for the Thunder. Ashley Torok distributed 18 assists and Alley Lindner added 16 assists.
