Bloomington, Ill. – The Wheaton women's soccer team battled Illinois Wesleyan (10-3-1/2-1-1 CCIW) to a 0-0 draw on the road on Saturday in a key CCIW matchup.
Wheaton is now 12-1-2 on the year, with a 3-0-1 record in CCIW play. The Thunder will host University of Chicago on Thursday in a non-conference matchup at 7:00 p.m.
Wheaton out-shot the Titans 10-2 in the first half, including a 5-2 advantage in shots on goal in the opening period. However, Wheaton was unable to put any shots into the net thanks to five first-half saves by IWU netminder Dana Jourdan.
Wheaton held an 8-7 advantage in shots in the second half. However, the Titans owned a 5-2 advantage in the overtime sessions, including a 3-0 edge in the first overtime.
Wheaton out-shot IWU 20-14 on Saturday and the Titans held a 9-8 advantage in shots on goal. Wheaton was awarded nine corner kicks in the match and the Titans had six corner kicks.

Kelsey Graham made nine saves to preserve the shutout for the Thunder. Tonight's effort marked Graham's fourth solo shutout of the season and the 11th overall shutout for the Thunder defense. Jourdan made eight saves in the Titans' net.
