Madison, Wis. - The Thunder men's tennis team completed its season-opening three-match trip to Wisconsin on Saturday with matches against UW-Oshkosh and Grinnell College. The Thunder picked up its first win of the season in a 5-4 victory against UW-Oshkosh and fell to Grinnell later in the day, 6-3. Wheaton (1-2) will host Edgewood College next Saturday at Centre Court Racquet Club in Hanover Park, Illinois at 5 PM.

Ryan Kreis remained undefeated in singles play with a 6-3, 6-3 win against Bobby Brooks of UW-Oshkosh and a 6-2, 6-1 victory against Elliott Czarnecki of Grinnell. Kreis and temmate
Josh Ward won both of their matches at number-one doubles as the duo earned a 8-6 victory against UW-Oshkosh and an 8-2 win against Grinnell.
