Elkhorn, Wis. - The Wheaton College men's tennis team opened its 2013 season on Friday night at UW-Whitewater. The Warhawks,
ranked 29th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) preseason Division III rankings, defeated the Thunder 8-1. Junior
Ryan Kreis was a 6-2, 6-2 victor at number-one singles to get Wheaton's lone win.
The Thunder men's tennis team (0-1) will remain in Wisconsin for a pair of non-conference matches on Saturday. Wheaton will face UW-Oshkosh at noon and take on Grinnell College at 4 PM.
