Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton women's basketball game on January 26 will be used to promote and support breast cancer awareness as part of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) Play 4Kay program. The Play 4Kay initiative is an opportunity for a nation of coaches to raise breast cancer awareness and funds for research on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. Since its inception in 2007, the Play 4Kay initiative has raised over $2 million to support women's cancer research.
Spectators and fans are encouraged to get involved by wearing pink to the game versus North Central on January 26. A limited number of pink Wheaton Basketball t-shirts specific for this occasion are available for $5 in sizes S, M and L. Anyone interested in purchasing a t-shirt can contact assistant coach Sarah Harris at
