Wheaton, Ill.- The Thunder volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to their neighbors from Naperville on Tuesday night.  North Central made light work of game one and went on to win 25-11, 25-22, 22-25 and 25-11. The loss drops Wheaton to 4-14 on the year while North Central improves to 14-4.

Emily Buyse led the Thunder with 14 kills and four total blocks. Andy DeMoss tallied six kills and Lauren Wilhite pounded five kills to accompany 21 assists.  Cassie Murphy dished out 14 assists with 11 digs.  Megan Thornton had 16 digs to lead the Thunder.  Buyse and Samantha Hedlund each recorded a service ace.

Wheaton will be idle for the remainder of the month and will return to action at 7 PM on October 2 when they travel to Elmhurst to take on the Bluejays.
