Wheaton, Ill. - A clean sweep of the three doubles points put the Wheaton College men's tennis team ahead early en route to a 6-3 victory over Grinnell College on Friday.
The Thunder improve to 7-5 overall while the Pioneers fall to 14-5 on the year.

David Buursma got the ball rolling early by taking the doubles matches by scores of 8-3. 8-4 and 8-6.
Parrish and Buursma both picked up straight-set wins at No. 4 and 5 singles as well. Johnson rallied back from a set down to win his singles match in three.
The Thunder will host Calvin College at 10 AM on Saturday.
