Bloomington, Ill. - The Wheaton College men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Elmhurst College in the third-place match of the CCIW Championship on Saturday.
The No. 4-seed Thunder end their season with an overall record of 8-12. The No. 6-seed Bluejays finish with a 12-10 mark.
Elmhurst started the matchup by sweeping all three doubles match. The two teams then split the six singles, with Wheaton getting wins at No. 3 by
Joel Parrish, at No. 5 by
Miles Greenwald and at No. 6 by
Sam Cannon.
