Elmhurst, Ill. - The Wheaton College men's tennis team kicked off its conference schedule with a 6-3 loss at Elmhurst College on Tuesday.
The Thunder fell to 5-8 overall and 0-1 in the CCIW. The Bluejays improved to 8-7, 1-2 in conference play.
Wheaton received wins from
Taylor Johnson and
Stephan Rauh at the No. 2 doubles spot (8-4), along with Rauh at No. 2 singles (6-2, 6-0) and
Miles Greenwald at No. 5 singles (6-2, 6-0).
The Thunder return home for a 4 PM match on Thursday against Illinois Wesleyan University.
