Scott Roche was named to the 2011 D3football.com All-American Team on Friday evening. Roche was tabbed as an honorable mention All-American by the website. Earlier this month, D3football.com named Roche as a First Team All-North Region selection at kicker.
Roche (PICTURED ABOVE), a First Team All-CCIW honoree at kicker, led Wheaton in scoring this fall with 74 points as he converted 13 of his 16 field goal attempts. He finished the 2011 season ranked 11th in Division III in field goals per game. Roche's 40 career field goals is a Wheaton school record and is 12th all-time in Division III history. Roche is one of only 17 players in the history of Division III football to convert at least 40 field goals in a career.
