River Forest, Ill. – The Thunder men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 contest at
ninth-ranked Dominican University on Thursday afternoon. Wheaton is now 2-3-3 on the season, while the Stars improve to 7-0-0 on the year. Wheaton will host Washington University (Mo.) on Saturday afternoon at 4:30 at Joe Bean Stadium.
Both Dominican goals came in the first half of today's match. The first score for the hosts came 22:47 into the match when Michael Kapusta deposited a double-assist by Leo Elizalde and Ryan Roberts in the back of the net. Roberts extended the Stars' lead to 2-0 at the 32:17 mark of the match off of a Kyle Boekeloo and Andy Lynch double-assist. Wheaton out-shot the Stars 5-1 in the second half, including a 2-0 edge in shots on goal.

Ryan Seager allowed two goals in 90 minutes of work. Dominican netminder Maxwell Gutbrod made four saves in recording the shutout for the hosts.
