Bloomington, Ill. - The second-seeded Wheaton College men's tennis team defeated third-seed Augustana College a semifinal match of the 2010 CCIW Men's Tennis Championship on Friday night at the Evergreen Racquet Club.

Wheaton is now 10-7 on the season and has won its last five matches. The Thunder will face top-seeded Carthage on Saturday at 3 PM in the CCIW Championship match. Carthage advanced to the Championship Match with a 5-1 victory against fourth-seeded North Central on Friday's other Semifinal match.
