Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton College men's tennis team defeated North Central College 5-4 on Monday.
The Thunder improved to 6-7 overall and 2-2 in the CCIW. The Cardinals fell to 4-13 and 1-3 in conference.
The two teams split the singles matches evenly as North Central won the first three matches while Wheaton's
David Stephens,
Joel Parrish and
Colin Johnson won the other three. The Thunder won the No. 2 doubles (
Taylor Johnson and
Kevin Graham) and No. 3 doubles (
Colin Johnson and
Corey Chan) matches to provide the difference.
The Thunder continue its home schedule with a 4:00 PM match on Tuesday vs. Judson University.
