Bloomington, Ill. - The Thunder men's tennis team dropped a closely contested CCIW match at Illinois Wesleyan on Wednesday, 5-4. Wheaton is now 5-7 on the year and 1-2 in CCIW play.
The Thunder picked up victories by
David Stephens at number-four singles,
Joel Parrish at number-five and
Colin Johnson at number-six singles. The fourth victory of the day for the Thunder came at number-three doubles in an 8-3 win by
Jordan Williams and
Colin Johnson.
Wheaton is now 5-7 on the year and 1-2 in CCIW play. The Thunder will host Indiana Wesleyan University on Friday afternoon at 4 PM.
