Nick Biggee named to AFCA Division III All-American Team

COMPLETE  AFCA ALL-AMERICAN TEAM

–Wheaton College senior Nick Biggee has been named to the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division III Football team. Biggee was the starting center and team captain for a 10-2 Thunder team that advanced to the Second Round of the 2010 NCAA Division III Football Playoff.

Biggee was a key part of Wheaton's offensive line that averaged 406.3 yards of offense per game in the regular season and he did not allow a sack in the regular season. The Thunder featured a balanced attack that averaged 203.7 rushing yards per game and 202.6 passing yards a game with Biggee as the anchor on the offensive front.

Biggee's selection marks the seventh time in the last eight years that the Wheaton football program has had a player named to the AFCA Division III All-American team. The other Thunder All-Americans in that span include offensive tackle James Hoxworth (2003); wide receiver Brad Musso (2004); placekicker Andrew Day (2005); defensive end Andy Studebaker (2006); cornerback and returner Pete Ittersagen (2007 and 2008).
