Rock Island, Ill. - The No. 5-seed Wheaton College volleyball team swept No. 4-seed Augustana College 3-0 in the CCIW Play-In Match on Tuesday.

The Thunder improved to 16-18 while the Vikings ended its season at 12-20.

Wheaton took the three sets by scores of 25-23, 25-21 and 25-20. Outside hitter Hannah Velling led the offense with 10 kills while middle hitter Hannah Graber added nine kills. Setter Jenna McCallister compiled 27 assists and two aces. Libero Ashlie Pace collected 21 digs and Kaitlyn Graham tallied 19 digs. Cassie Murphy and Emily Buyse totalled two total blocks each.

The Thunder will continue its run on Friday at the CCIW Tournament against an opponent yet to be determined.
