Wheaton, Ill. – The Thunder volleyball defeated North Central in three sets in CCIW action on Tuesday night in Wheaton's King Arena. Wheaton topped the Cardinals 3-0 as the Thunder won 25-13, 25-21, 25-22. Wheaton will compete in North Central's “Tiffany Robinson Memorial Classic” this Friday and Saturday in Naperville.

Sophomore Cassie Murphy led Wheaton with 11 kills, 14 digs and three assisted blocks in the match. Sophomore Hannah Velling contributed kills, while junior Brooke Monroe added eight kills. Freshman Hannah Graber registered seven kills and three total blocks, while Emily Buyse had six kills, with four total blocks. Junior setter Jenna McCallister distributed a team-high 34 assists, with eight digs and senior Ashlie Pace had 14 digs.
